Buying millet spray in bulk makes sense in regards to the cost of millet spray. I know 15kg is a lot but does it go bad after a while or can I keep it stored so it lasts a long time? I have only ever purchased a couple of strands at a time.

Do not store millet spray in a moist environment as it will become mouldy real quick. Millet spray is best stored in an airtight dry container in a cool place. I have had millet spray stored in excess of 3 months and it has been perfectly fine. You can visually look at it to see if it is still good, and it should not smell.
15kg is quite a lot of millet spray though, I would only get that amount if you have multiple birds.
