PetComparison exists because the dog food review space has a credibility problem. Most affiliate sites bury recall history because surfacing it costs them commissions. We do the opposite.

What we do differently

Every food on this site is ranked using a transparent formula that combines independent ingredient analysis, AAFCO nutritional standards, and a brand's full verified recall history going back to 2009. The recall record alone covers 309 events and 20 years of data, normalized to brand-level so a parent company's history follows them through every product line.

We earn money through standard affiliate links — primarily Amazon Associates, with select Chewy and direct-brand partnerships. A commission has zero effect on rank. The brand promise is independence; once that's compromised, it can't be earned back.
