Information we collect

PetComparison uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors use the site. GA4 is configured with Consent Mode v2, meaning analytics cookies are not set unless you explicitly accept them via our cookie banner. If you decline, your visit is not tracked.

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with advertisers. We do not run ad networks. We do not use cookies for personalized advertising.

Affiliate cookies

When you click an affiliate link to a retailer (e.g., Amazon, Chewy), the retailer may set a cookie on your device to track the referral. This is how we earn a commission. These cookies are set by the retailer, not by PetComparison. See each retailer's privacy policy for details.

Email contact

If you email contact@petcomparison.com, we use that email solely to respond to your inquiry. We do not add you to any mailing list without explicit opt-in.

Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)

You have the right to know what data we hold about you (none, beyond anonymous analytics if you've consented), and to request deletion. Email contact@petcomparison.com with the subject line "Data Request" and we'll respond within 30 days.

Children

PetComparison is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

We update this policy when our practices change. The "Last updated" date above will reflect any changes. Material changes will be announced on the homepage.
